ANNOUNCEMENT

The PROCUREMENT SERVICE WILL CONDUCT ITS INVENTORY ON JANUARY 2-6, 2012. THERE WILL BE NO MOVEMENT OF STOCKS ON THESE DATES. However, Agency Servicing Division shall continue to receive APRs/payments during this period.

Pick-up of supplies/materials shall be until December 29, 2011. Regular transactions resume on January 9, 2012.

FINAL EXTENSION OF THE SUBMISSION OF 2012 ANNUAL PROCUREMENT PLAN

The Procurement Service, headed by Executive Director Estanislao C. Granados Jr., issued an announcement in the form of an e-mail blast to remind all government procuring entities about the submission of their Annual Procurement Plan for Common Use Supplies and Equipment (APP-CSE) for FY 2012. The initial deadline for submission was on November 15, 2011 but to encourage submission by agencies which have not complied, the deadline was extended until December 15, 2011.

PRESENTATION OF THE VIRTUAL STORE TO HIGH LEVEL NGA OFFICIALS

High level officials from national government agencies were invited by the GPPB-Technical Support Office (TSO) on October 20, 2011 for a presentation on the Virtual Store. The Virtual Store is the newest functionality hosted by the PhilGEPS which facilitates the online ordering of the common supplies and equipment carried in stock by the Procurement Service and available for reselling to all national government agencies, SUCs, GOCCs, GFIs and LGUs.
